Peek-a-boo october release

Hi..

Crafty friends..
Here I am with 3 cards for Peek-a-boo designs.

Card #1

** This was the card which i made when i was struggling with ideas.
** I secured card base n stencil and applied embossing paste.  Left it to dry of its own.
** Sprayed gold shimmer mist from ranger.
** Gold heat embossed two butter flies and fussy cut them out.
** Coloured one butterfly with copics (carefully) and few strokes with gold marker. Glued it on other plain butterfly.
** Heat embossed sentiment on vellum n sandwiched it between two scalloped circles.
** Placed sentiment n butterfly with liquid glue.
** To finish the card added few rainstones towards top n 3 more on butterfly's body.

Here is closeup of butterfly n gold shimmer mist.

Card #2

** This is my first attempt in colouring on vellum.
** I stamped & gold heat embossedin the image on vellum.
** Used few copics to colour it on back (many have said that colouring directly on heat embossed image with copics will damage copic nibs).
** I didn't feel like taking risk with glueing vellum on card front. So i left 1/2" towards top so that i can fold and glue it behind.
** Heat embossed sentiment with gold embossing powder.
** Added few enamel dots to the card.

Here is close up sentiment and the the coloured flowers.

** Die cut number 1 & st with red glitter foam.
** Heat embossed sentiment with white embossing powder.
** Foam mounted panel towards top of card base.
** Glued glitter foam pieces in place to finish the card.

Custom background - thank you card

Hi...

Friends..

I stamped the thank you image repeatedly with black ink (should have used grey shade :(  ) to create the background. Then heat embossed one side of the card base with gold UTEE.

I die cut a vellum heart and embossed the edges, then die cut few thanks words and stacked them with liquid glue. Embossed it with UTEE n adhered on the front panel. Adhered the front panel with foam tape on card base.

ric 87 challenge

Hi...Friends...

I made a card to enter ric 87.

Today is the the last day to enter and I tried my best to make one. I made this card for my mother. I took a white panel measuring 11x6" and folder at 5.5" to make side folding card. I idea was to do with vellum.

I chose a stamp from damask stamp. I taped down the panel to ensure that paper wont shift while stamping. I mounted the stamp fiskers stamp foot, so that i can adjust the placing while stamping. I used HA soft lilac ink to stamp the damask image. I started at the centre and worked up to the top. Then i paced the vellum which was of same size of card front and taped it. Then with versamark clear ink i stamped the down portion and heat embossed with liquid platinum powder.

The sentiments were from clearly besotted. I heat set it with gold tinsel powder. Used few rhinestones here and there to add little spark to the card and to get place to put glue. Then pasted on the main card front. Used 1/2 " corner  chomper. Thats is it, my card s finished.

Suggestions are always welcome
