Masked night sky

Hi...

Friends...

I made this simple card by masking. I just die cut an oval from a thin copy paper. Then i placed it on a white card stock n used distress inks to make the sky. Then splattered few drops of plain water n pearlised water to make it look like galaxy.
Then i white heat embossed a small star. Then white heat embossed sentiment on vellum strip n pasted it half way across the masked night sky.

Stenciled background - 2 cards

Hi...

Friends...

I made these two cards in time of one card. I blended distress inks in rainbow order on a white panel. Then placed the hero arts stencil over the panel and sponged same inks over the stencil to make the image to pop a little bit, then sprayed pearlised water to give subtle shimmer to the stenciled area.

Once the panel dried i cut it into two pieces.

Card #1

One panel i used on a navy card base. I cut out a circle from the stenciled panel then used another smaller circle to cut out smaller circle. Mounted it on card base with foam tape. Stamped the sentiment from Avery elle - Thanks a bunch with black ink on the circle cut out n mounted it with foam tape.

This is my card..

Card #2

I used another panel and cut out heart shape. Adhered the panel on card base with glue runner then mounted the heart shape with foam tape. Heat embossed the sentiment from avery elle - get well stamp set and mounted it with foam tape.

Guest designer - Stamplorations card #2

Hi..

Friends..

Here I am with my second entry for Guest designer for Stamplorations blog (March). You can check out my first entry for Stamploration's blog here.

The sketch for the month of March is

Theme is

This time also tried to use both the sketch and theme for my card.

First i prepared the background for my card. I wanted to keep the background monochromatic to keep the focus on the flowers. So i used falling hear stencil from SSS to apply embossing paste, and sprinkled distress rock candy glitter to give subtle sparkle to the background. Then die cut a rectangular frame from SSS stitched rectangle die.

Now coming to the focal point of the card. I used stamplorations rose digi stamp (in two sizes) and coloured with copic markers then fussy cut them out, applied wink of stella. Used spellbinders tag die to cut out the sentiment which is also from stamplorations.

I adhered the rectangle frame with foam tape. Glued the roses the way I needed and glued them to make it easy to handle. Adhered the flowers with tiny foam squares, adhered the sentiment tag in such a way that it peeks from the flowers. Made a small bow and adhered it with multi medium matt.

Rainbow colour - Peek-a-boo stamp

Hi...

Here i am with another card. Few days back I received this stamp from Peek-a-boo stamp through Catchy designs. So thought I will use it soon.

I used the heart stamp from the set and heat embossed the image with liquid platinum powder, then used distress inks to blend colours. Then added few drops water to bleach out colours for added interest. I used sentiment from the same set n heat embossed on a black strip of paper with white embossing powder.

To add little more interest i smeared versa mark ink on the edges of card base and heat embossed with liquid platinum. I assembled card with foam tape.

Penny black - Thinking of you

Hi...

I have collected so many stamps over the time but have not used few/many of them. This is one such set. I loved it a lot so bought but couldnt use it. So i took it out n tried and off course I thought of trying water colour.

Few months back a friend of mine gifted me water colour sheets (which have colour pigment on paper) which i had not tried yet, so using those colours.

I had something in mind, so i created mask for the entire colouring piece (i.e two overlapped squares) I heat embossed the flower masked it , embossed leaves also. Coloured the flowers and leaves. Then cut the coloured piece , matted it on a black piece of paper. Heat embossed sentiment from same stamp set.

For the background i stamped same flower and leaf images repeated with SSS fog ink. Adhered a black strip of paper on one side with foam tape and on other side the matted coloured piece. Trimmed the sentiment piece and adhered it with foam tape too. Added few sequins here n there.

Stamploration Guest Designer for March

Hi... Friends...

Here is my post for Stamplorations Blog as guest Designer for the month of March. I am very excited to be part of it.

The theme for the month of March is Stamps and texture

And the sketch is below. One can use either the theme or the sketch or both to make their project.

I made the card using stamploration digital stamps stamps. I took printout of images on copic friendly card stack. I coloured the image and fussy cut it. Applied wink of stella for the shimmer and then coated it with glossy accents. Then used a dotted stencil for added background texture. Assembeled the card layers with foam tape.

I tried to incorporate both theme and sketch and my card is

Added few sequins for interest.

Mini album - ICR guest designer (March)

Hi...

Friends...

I am truly honoured to be guest designing for ICR for the month of March.
Here I am with a mini album to share with you all.

Theme of the month was 3D project with flowers but NO CARDS, which took my breath away .

I have not tried anything other than cards till now. So tried mini album. Its an album with two sleets of 12*12 card stack. I decorated it with Papericious - Grey Bloom paper pack. I used mixed stamps to make flowers and the sentiment embellishment.
