Guest designing at CAS(E)

Hello, I am so excited to be part of CAS(E) as guest designer for the challenge #217

If you have not heard about this challenge then I highly recommend it to you, there will be awesome sketches every week.

Now coming to my take on the sketch

I placed a slightly smaller panel on the card base, stamped outline images from Altenew painted poppy set and stamped with grey ink from Altenew. Then I stamped remaining layers on the smaller panel with Altenew inks. Used grey ink to blend on the card base.

Stamped sentiment from another Altenew stamp with Altenew black ink. Felt like it got lost in flowers so I outlined the words which overlap, I have learnt this trick from Kelly Latevola. Used corner choper to round one corner, then foam mounted the panel on card base and added few clear sequins.

Supplies

Altenew painted poppy
Altenew painted greetings
Altenew red cosmos ink cube set
Altenew green fields ink cube set
Altenew summer night ink cube set
Altenew warm grey ink cube set

Here i am with my card using the TCW stencil. Here are few cards which i made in past using same stencil.

This time I just plcaed the stencil over a panel and applied embossing paste. Stamped the sentiment with black ink and adhered the panel on a grey card base.

One stencil - 4 ways

Hi...

Friends...

Here I am with my trails with a stencil. I made these cards using a single stencil but with few different techniques.
All the panels were left out pieces of paper from other projects (I am poor at water colouring so all panels have my failed trails in water colouring at the back ;) ) so when nothing comes to my mind I pick up a stencil. And came out with these cards.

A friend of mine has started an initiative to stretch our stash so thought will join her when ever its possible from me. I used different sentiments.

I adhered all the stencilled panels with foam tape.

Water coloured background + Giveaway

Hi...

Friends...

Here I am with another water coloured card.
I used few distress inks to create the background , stamped the sentiment with Versafine black ink. Stamped few stars to balance the layout.
Then trimmed the water coloured panel and mounted it on a black card base.
