  • Its a side folding 3.5x8.25 card.
  • I heat embossed leaves from Simon Says Stamp set and die cut them out.
  • Gold heat embossed sentiment on vellum and gave it torn effect.
  • Arranged my elements on the smaller panel, edges of which I had distressed.

Lets call for critters

Hi.. Friends its time for new challenge at A Blog Named Hero. This month our challenge is "Lets call for Critters" and we are collaborating with none other than Lawn Fawn which have amazingly cute critters in stamping world.

Here is cute and simple card I made.

  • I prepared side folding a2 card base and ran it through embossing folder.
  • Stamped images from lawn fawn chit chat set and coloured with zig markers. Fussy cut the images leaving a white border.
  • Stamped sentiment on white strip, sentiment comes from Hero arts Every day sentiments.
  • Used corner rounder for sentiment strip, foam mounted it on card base and birds were glued with liquid glue.

Here is closer look at the next generation embossing.

Happy birthday to Honey bee stamps

Hi.. Friends, this month at A Blog Named Hero we are collaborating with Honey bee stamps and the challenge is Water colouring.
Visit blog for more details on the challenge and team members take on the challenge.

Two things which i always avoid in card making are masking and water colouring, both tests my patience. But for this card I am combining both,
I used images from two stamp sets of Honey bee stamps.

Loved the out come of masking and stamping, it really makes happy to know the dimension we create on a plain ,flat paper.

Coloured image with zig markers.

Then I used Infinity die to cut the water coloured panel, then stamped sentiment from Hero arts birthday messages. There was so much going on the panel that I thought will keep the sentiment small and sweet. Foam mounted the panel on a Gray card base.

Here is the look

Hope you liked my take on the challenge. Visit A Blog Named Hero blog for more details about how to enter to the challenge.

You're Fabulous

Hello, Welcome to my blog again. This month's challenge at A Blog Named Hero is up and here is my take on the challenge. Last week was A Blog Named Hero's 5th birthday and we had a huge bloghop, if you missed the event then no problem you can still have a look at all the projects of Day 1 & Day 2.

I firstly used a die to trace over on a white card panel which will guide me to stamp flowers. I used flowers from Hero arts Hello sunshine stamp and stamped them with black ink, used the same die which I used to trace and partial die cut the circle. I fussy cut the flowers which were inside the circle area.

Used Hero arts ink cubes to blend on the card base, stamped sentiment from Colour layering Flamingo.

Theme of this month's challenge over at A Blog Named Hero is FLORAL, so create your project with florals and link them to the challenge. And don't forget to use the logo of the challenge.
